OUTDOOR CEREMONIES

Outdoor ceremonies can be held at any of the viewpoints within the village. A special events permit is required from the government for a fee of $100.00 plus GST.

Should you require Ceremony Back-up space, the same space as rented for your meal will be used at no extra cost.

Please ensure we have 2 hours between the ceremony and dinner function to reconfigure the room.

• Ceremonies must be held between the hours of 8am and 8pm
• A maximum of 10 chairs (20 for viewpoint #5) are permitted for elderly and handicapped guests only.
• These chairs must be of a design that will not cause ground damage
  • If you’d like to rent chairs from a  local vendor, Kananaskis Outfitters has tubular chairs available to rent, please contact them at 403-591-7000
  • For an additional fee, you can arrange to have the chairs transported to and from the site, set up and taken down.
• Balloons, Confetti and Organic substances(flower petals/rice) are not permitted for environmental purposes
• No motorized vehicles or horse drawn carriages are permitted on the trails…this means the viewpoints are accessible by foot only.
• Alcohol is prohibited
